Config is a new area for controllers created in myhrtoolkit to facilitate a simplified route to administering a Toolkit. It can be accessed by clicking "Try new Config area" at the top-left of Setup & admin.
This page outlines the structure of Config, and how to navigate to the settings you need.
For many years, configuration settings for myhrtoolkit have been found in the area known as Setup & admin. This will be replaced through 2019, with a gradual change in emphasis towards using Config. We will send out a news item when Setup & admin is being phased out.
Config separates out the Toolkit settings into two broad groups; Access rights and System. From the Config homepage, there is also a launch point for the Security centre.
The Access rights section covers settings affecting which of your users have logins to interact with your Toolkit, who are set up as managers (of the various types) and controllers, etc.
