Requesting holidays is easy in myhrtoolkit. Simply follow the process below to submit a holiday request to your manager.
Where do I go?
First of all, log into your Toolkit account. Once you have, navigate to the Holidays section and select the request holiday dates tab.
What will I see?
When you load this page, the first thing you will see is a summary of your holiday entitlement. This includes items like the number of holidays you've taken/requested and the amount of outstanding entitlement you have left to take in your current holiday year.
Holiday Request Form
Underneath your entitlement summary, you'll see the request form that you can fill in. You would enter the From and To date of your request, the number of days/hours that you're taking off and enter any notes that you may need to add.
When you've filled in this information, you can press Submit to send the request to your manager.
If you don't have the required "Outstanding entitlement", the Toolkit will not allow your request to go through as you would be exceeding your annual entitlement. In this case, you would need to speak with your manager or controller regarding your request instead.
If you ever need to see who else is on holiday, you can navigate to the Calendar tab to view a calendar of holidays.
If you don't see the Calendar tab, it means that your company's designated Controller has disabled it.
