The Structure of Training in myhrtoolkit
In 2018, training underwent some changes. The previous method of recording training has been replaced. Older data you may have against your name will need to be migrated to the new format.
Managers setup Courses, then create events which can be attended.
In myhrtoolkit, a Course is an overall definition of some training that could be taken - CPD points, category, the qualification to which it leads and may include course overview documentation.
The Training Glossary defines some terms used in Training.
Once a course has been setup, manages can create Course Events which give a time and place to a course. A manager may assign you to a course. If this happens you will receive a notification.
Available course events can be seen by navigating to
Myhome > Training > Go to My Managed Training Courses. A request to go on a course event can be made by clicking the button at the right-hand-side of the course. This will trigger a notification to your Training Manager who will then accept or deny the request.
After the Event
After attending a course event, you can then rate your experience of it.
If the course has a 'pass/fail' element, or an assigned mark, managers can record these against your attendance of the course event.
