It is possible to use an Excel (CSV) spreadsheet to bulk upload sickness absence data. This tools is currently available only when your account is in initial setup. Ask staff at myhrtoolkit to change your account from live to initial setup state and vice-versa if your account is already live.
However, if there aren't many records (10 or less), it will be faster to manually add these via
Setup & Admin > Sickness absence dates.
Download sickness absence dates template spreadsheet
Setup and admin > Sickness absence dates > Click here. Don't click on the "Sickness absence dates" link. Click on the "Click here" link is in the description.
Click on Default spreadsheet to download the template spreadsheet.
Populate sickness absence spreadsheet
Add data to your spreadsheet. You can add or delete rows for an employee as required but the User ID for any user should not be changed. Sickness absence can only be recorded in days.
- only dd/mm/yyyy date format is accepted in the "From" and "To" columns
- use decimals to enter a value for part of a day (e.g. 0.5 for half a day)
Upload the spreadsheet
Save you spreadsheet in CSV format
Setup and admin > Sickness absence dates > Click here (in the description of Sickness absence dates).
You wont be able to upload the spreadsheet if it contains errors such as a sickness starting before the employment start date, or the from date is greater than the to date. Make corrections and try again.
